Not every emergency looks like a burst main

A plumbing emergency isn’t always as obvious as a burst main. Subtle shifts in your property’s plumbing system can signal a major failure is about to happen.

Sudden loss of water pressure

A total loss of pressure usually means there’s a major leak or break in your primary supply line. If water is escaping into your walls or floors, every minute of delay increases the repair costs.

If pressure drops across multiple taps at once, shut off the main and call a plumber before the damage spreads.

Raw sewage odors or backups

If multiple drains are backing up at once, or if you smell a “rotten egg” odor from your floor drains, your sewer main has failed. This is a severe health hazard requiring immediate attention.
